The musicians of Cedar Valley Strings have performed in numerous wedding ceremonies, and are highly experienced in the preparation and execution of the perfect service. There are many, many details involved in wedding planning, and your guests will likely remember and speak of the music at your ceremony long after your special day has passed. With our our talented, professional musicians and vast repertoire of both old and new musical favorites, we can ensure a simplified planning process while adding a touch of elegance to your ceremony. 

Our services for a wedding ceremony include (but are not limited to) performing 20 minutes of prelude music as your guests are arriving and being seated, any number of song selections during any length of ceremony, and 20-30 minutes of postlude music as your guests are being ushered out. A representative musician of the group will also be in attendance at your rehearsal* for one hour to play through the song selections to ensure that your wedding party is comfortable with their roles in relation to the music, and to establish cues and other details with the officiant/wedding coordinator. Also included is an initial consultation to discuss and select specific musical selections for the main musical parts of the ceremony.

*for all local events (within 30 minutes from representative's place of residence). For all events requiring travel, a representative musician will not be in attendance for the rehearsal, or will require an additional fee to attend. It is recommended but not required that a representative of Cedar Valley Strings be in attendance at the rehearsal. 

Every event is unique with many additional elements that factor into a pricing estimate for a wedding ceremony, such as venue/location, travel required, indoor vs. outdoor service, special song requests that may require the purchase/preparation of new music, etc. The fees listed below are flat rates which include the services listed above for events that are considered local to the musicians involved.
